Meet Our Team
Diana McDonough, President, founded BridgeView CFO Solutions in 2011 and has been working closely with many of our present clients for over fifteen years. BridgeView CFO Solutions was formed to provide high level, outsource expertise in accounting and business management services to professional financial firms from launch to maturity, utilizing a curated tool box of cloud based support solutions. Diana has brought together a diverse team of experienced accountants and advisers supporting every aspect of business management in the finance industry. Diana is actively involved with our clients, advising on general business matters, cash flows, budgeting, financial reporting, employee matters, payroll and taxes, benefits administration and insurance. With over twenty five years in the investment management space Diana has an extensive background in the startup phase of financial service firms, as well as those in transition through growth, spinoffs, acquisitions and wind downs.
Prior to forming BridgeView CFO Solutions, Diana was a founding partner of the Conifer Group where she launched the Fund Administration group (now part of SS&C) in 1995, and built that practice from the ground up. In 2006 Diana developed the Professional Services group at Conifer to focus on providing outsource CFO services to emerging business owners. In 2011 Diana and Conifer worked together to seamlessly spin out the department to her independently owned firm when she formed BridgeView CFO Solutions.
Diana has a BS in Accounting and over thirty five years of experience providing small business entrepreneurs with proven and seasoned advice in launching new businesses and maintaining the infrastructure required to keep a successful company running smoothly.
Aaron Odle, CPA, is a Partner at BridgeView CFO Solutions. He has developed an expert-level knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles over his 25-year career in accounting. Aaron’s his expertise includes everything from treasury management to advising on technical financial reporting issues. He also has a tax and audit background, which supports our clients in obtaining positive results while experiencing a smooth and efficient financial process. Aaron’s robust understanding of tax concepts allows him to identify potential issues for our clients to help them better evaluate their strategic options.
Aaron currently focuses on executive level services to review financial performance and provide input on strategies to optimize client’s processes. With experience in many of the accounting platforms available to our clients, Aaron can identify strengths and weaknesses of each system to guide our clients to the optimal solution to meet their objectives. Aaron’s financial competencies and ability to implement process improvement programs have made him a valuable resource for executive leaders involved in startup operations and early stage companies.
Aaron is continually assessing integrated accounting technology and AI processes to use in providing advanced analysis and reporting to our clients. He plays a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining these systems to achieve timely, accurate information to decision makers.
Rivkah Massey-Penarelli, Partner, joined BridgeView CFO Solutions in 2013. In addition to her knowledge of financial service firms, Rivkah has over 15 years of experience providing guidance and supporting the daily operations of small to mid-size organizations. Rivkah focuses on systems, financial reporting, accounts payable, and our payroll and HR service offering. She is highly adept at supporting the needs of multiple clients in various stages of development. Rivkah is a strong advocate for integrated cloud-based accounting solutions and is well versed in researching the evolving technological landscape to select products for our accounting platform and designing business best practices, and assessing improvements to the user experience for our clients as well as the BridgeView CFO team.
Prior to joining BridgeView CFO Rivkah served as Finance Director at Oddcast, Inc., a tech company in New York City, where she oversaw the financial management of the firm through several different stages of its growth. She also spent three years serving as Managing Director for the nonprofit Milk Can Theatre Company.
While in New York Rivkah also operated her own bookkeeping business, managing multiple clients in a wide range of industries, including professional services, technology and startups.
Rivkah earned her Bachelor of Theater Arts from Tel Aviv University and a certificate of Nonprofit Management from City University New York. She is an avid theatre fan and takes in local shows whenever she can.
Julee Nevarez, CPA, is a Senior Accountant who joined BridgeView CFO Solutions in 2016. With over 2 decades of diverse accounting experience, she capably supports accurate and comprehensive financial reporting and enjoys partnering with clients in strategic decisions.
Julee’s background includes acquisition integration, business process improvement, and streamlining accounting departments to operate at optimal efficiency in a variety of settings, including private equity portfolio companies. She is knowledgeable in configuration and implementation of various accounting, workflow, timekeeping, payroll and expense reporting systems. Julee loves to solve a puzzle and has a demonstrated history of using her financial expertise and systems knowledge to keep working a challenge until identifying the best solution, whether that means choosing a platform or determining the right way to handle a particular transaction.
Julee is currently pursuing an M.S. in Leadership at Golden Gate University and holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting (summa cum laude, Southern New Hampshire University). She is also a certified Sage Intacct Accounting and Implementation Specialist. She has enjoyed serving on audit & finance committees for various organizations and is a frequent platelet donor and volunteer for a nationwide blood donation center.
Kate Roberts recently joined the team as Finance Consultant and brings a deep background across the investment management industry. Kate focuses primarily on project leadership and Sage Intacct. Kate’s background in fund administration gives her a strong insight into the interactions between clients and their funds, and of the complexities of capital allocations.
Kate’s primary role is to provide project leadership for the BridgeView team; leveraging her past experience as an in-house Controller, she seeks to create efficiencies and cost savings across workflows. Kate is passionate about problem-solving and finding optimal outcomes. Having been an Intacct power-user in a previous role, Kate now works to ensure Intacct best practice for BridgeView clients, including working with third-party firms to deliver customized solutions, tailored to fit our clients’ precise needs.
Kate began her career in the UK with KPMG’s financial services audit practice where she gained her Chartered Accountant designation with Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW). She then worked for Barclays Bank in their London headquarters before combining her love of travel with progressing her career. Kate spent five sunny years in the Caribbean where she had a management role in fund administration during the week and enjoyed lounging on a beach at the weekend, before moving to California in 2015 to take a Controller role with Conifer, now part of SS&C. Nowadays Kate juggles and struggles to continue to travel the globe with her toddler in tow. Kate graduated from Oxford University with first class honors.
Tanya Romero is our Accounts Payable Supervisor. She began working with BridgeView CFO in 2018 and truly enjoys helping our clients streamline and make their processes more efficient. Tanya brings her many years of bookkeeping experience to the team overseeing our accounts payable system and prides herself on being meticulous and detail oriented.
Tanya enjoys traveling and has a special affinity for islands, with Santorini and the Azores being her favorites. Tanya is fluent in Portuguese and hopes to visit mainland Portugal on a future excursion. She also enjoys family time with her husband and three young children and is an avid sports fan. She is a life-long Los Angeles Dodgers fan and despite living in the Bay Area still holds season tickets to Fresno State Football.
Tanya has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno where she was part of the Smittcamp Family Honors College and Craig School of Business Honors Program. She is a Quickbooks Online Certified ProAdvisor as well as Bill.com and Expensify certified.
Bethany Larsen joined the team in 2019 and brings over twenty years of experience as an office manager and bookkeeper, primarily in the commercial theatre industry in New York City. Her work has run the gamut from creating HR policies for small companies to escorting Hugh Jackman down the red carpet (once!). As the Business Manager for the Hartman Group, Bethany ran the day-to-day operations of a busy publicity agency for eleven seasons of Broadway shows, including overseeing an office relocation and the creation of an internship program. As a freelance bookkeeper, Bethany has worked with retail stores, boutique agencies and not-for-profit organizations.
Bethany lives in Peekskill, NY where she is very slowly restoring a Victorian home. She is active in local politics and arts-related-causes, and volunteers with the Peekskill Arts Alliance, Peekskill BID (Business Improvement District) and the Westchester Symphonic Winds. She is a member of the Dramatist’s Guild and is working with the newly formed Hudson Valley Chapter of the Guild to bring playwrights together to create and produce new work for the theatre. She is a graduate of Fordham University, has a Certificate in Bookkeeping from Baruch College in Manhattan, and is a Certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor.
Kimberly Horton joined the team in 2020 and brings multiple years of experience working with clients in the financial services industry assisting with HR, Payroll and Benefit needs. Kimberly works closely with clients on a multitude of HR needs, and is passionate about assisting with risk mitigation by utilizing her professional background to help with accuracy in payroll reporting and as a resource for HR compliance adherence.
Kimberly holds a Masters Degree in Psychology, and a PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and Yorksire Terrier “Jax.”
Clara Chan joined the team in 2020 and brings a decade of experience in GL accounting focused in the financial industry. Clara is adept at a wide array of corporate accounting and financial reporting topics and worked with the senior team at the Conifer Group (now SS&C Technologies) for the past 9 years. Prior to that time Clara was an Analyst at Wells Fargo Bank and at Banc of America Securities.
Clara holds an MBA from San Francisco State University, specializing in Finance and Accounting, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UC Davis. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, as well as traveling, biking, hiking and fishing.
