Meet Our Team
Diana McDonough, President, is the founder of BridgeView CFO Solutions and has been working closely with many of our present clients for over fifteen years. BridgeView CFO Solutions was formed to provide high level, outsource expertise in accounting and business management services to professional financial firms from launch to maturity, utilizing a curated tool box of cloud based support solutions.
Prior to forming BridgeView CFO Solutions, Diana was a founding partner of the Conifer Group where she launched the Fund Administration group (now part of SS&C) in 1995, and built that practice from the ground up. In 2006 Diana developed the Professional Services group at Conifer to focus on providing outsource CFO services to emerging business owners. In 2011 Diana and Conifer worked together to seamlessly spin out the department to her independently owned firm when she formed BridgeView CFO Solutions.
Diana has brought together and oversees a diverse team of experienced CFO advisers. She is actively involved with our clients, advising on general business matters, cash flows, budgeting, financial reporting, employee matters, payroll and taxes, benefits administration and insurance. With over 20 years in the investment management space Diana has an extensive background in the startup phase of financial service firms, as well as those in transition through growth, spinoffs, acquisitions and wind downs.
Diana has a BS in Accounting and over thirty years of experience providing small business entrepreneurs with proven and seasoned advice in launching new businesses and maintaining the infrastructure required to keep a successful company running smoothly.
Aaron Odle, CPA, is Vice President of Accounting Services at BridgeView CFO Solutions. He has developed an expert-level knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles over his 20 year career in accounting, so his expertise includes everything from treasury management to advising on technical financial reporting issues. He also has a tax and audit background, which supports our clients in obtaining positive results while experiencing a smooth and efficient financial process. His robust understanding of tax concepts allows him to identify potential issues for our clients to help them better evaluate their strategic options.
Aaron currently focuses on systems development and integration. With experience in many of the accounting platforms available to our clients, he can identify strengths and weaknesses of each system and help guide our clients to the right solution to meet their objectives. Aaron’s financial competencies and ability to implement process improvement programs have made him a valuable resource for executive leaders involved in startup operations and early stage companies.
When he’s not working for our clients, Aaron tutors and mentors peers in their path to passing the CPA exam which strengthens his own knowledge in the ever-changing technical accounting environment.
Rivkah Massey-Penarelli, Controller, joined BridgeView CFO Solutions in 2013. In addition to her knowledge of financial service firms, Rivkah has over 10 years of experience providing guidance and supporting the daily operations of small to mid-size organizations. As Controller Rivkah focuses on accounts payable, payroll and HR service offerings for all our clients as well as internally for BridgeView CFO.
Prior to joining BridgeView CFO Rivkah served as Finance Director at Oddcast, Inc., a tech company in New York City, where she oversaw the financial management of the firm through several different stages of its growth. She also spent three years serving as Managing Director for the nonprofit Milk Can Theatre Company.
While in New York Rivkah also operated her own bookkeeping business, managing multiple clients in a wide range of industries, including professional services, technology and startups. She is highly adept at supporting the needs of multiple clients in various stages of development. Rivkah is a strong advocate for integrated cloud-based accounting solutions and is well versed in researching the evolving technological landscape to select products for our accounting platform and designing business best practices.
Rivkah earned her Bachelor of Theater Arts from Tel Aviv University and a certificate of Nonprofit Management from City University New York. She is an avid theatre fan and takes in local shows whenever she can.
Shannon Cutting, Senior Accountant and Business Development Associate, focuses on client onboarding, accounts payable and payroll/HR/benefits at BridgeView CFO. She also manages our business development efforts and helps ensure top-quality services with customized best practice standards are offered to our clients at all times. She has an eye for detail and a knack for talking vendors into waiving fees.
Shannon is a passionate advocate for going paperless and making financial documents and reports accessible 24/7 in the cloud. Her background is in solving operational challenges of growing businesses, so she knows that giving managers immediate access to data allows them to use their energies to focus on the bigger picture. She is dedicated to helping managers escape the worries of business management by placing their confidence in our mantra of “just give it to BridgeView, they’ll take care of it”. Shannon’s small business experience strengthens BridgeView CFO’s own core expertise and furthers our mission to provide superior support for entrepreneurs and business managers.
Shannon earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of California, Berkeley and is a Bay Area native. In her spare time, you can find her checking out the city’s ever-changing brunch scene, volunteering at Project Open Hand in San Francisco, or spoiling her nephew in the North Bay.
Julee Nevarez, Accountant, joined BridgeView CFO in 2016. She focuses on financial accounting in addition to a variety of client support services, including payroll, benefits & HR functions.
Julee brings over twenty years of experience to BridgeView CFO Solutions from both public accounting and private industry. During her years in public accounting, Julee specialized in audit and consulting services. Her diverse private industry experience has been focused in recent years on venture capital backed entities in rapid growth mode. These positions have honed her expertise in streamlining accounting departments to operate at optimal efficiency.
Julee adds to our strength with a background in configuration and implementation of various accounting, timekeeping & payroll systems, and she enjoys transitioning clients into the cloud. Her most recent corporate role was as Assistant Controller of a multi-state group of medical practices.
During her free time, Julee is actively involved in community interests. She serves on the finance and audit committees for her local Girl Scout council, is a board member and co-treasurer at a non-profit entity providing services to the homeless & underserved populations, and is a hospital volunteer for the Ronald McDonald House. Julee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.
Jackie Cooke, CPA joined BridgeView CFO Solutions as a Vice President in 2018. Jackie’s breadth of experience across the asset management industry spans seventeen years, working with family offices, hedge funds and other investment advisory professionals. She has developed a wealth of knowledge in establishing operations and infrastructure for start-up hedge funds as well as streamlining accounting procedures and finding efficiencies for growing financial service firms.
Jackie is passionate about delivering the highest level of client services and helping our clients professionalize their operations to take their firm to the next level. With expertise touching every aspect of what is required to operate a financial services firm, Jackie is a true asset to BridgeView CFO’s clients at critical stages of growth.
Before joining BridgeView CFO Solutions, Jackie was the COO for an iconic family office in San Francisco. Prior to her experience there Jackie held Controller roles for family offices and hedge funds, including Arda Capital Management, a start-up hedge fund backed by Peter Thiel, the co-founder of PayPal. Jackie also spent five years at Relational Investors, an activist hedge fund with over $8 billion in assets under management.
Jackie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. When not chasing after her daughter, Jackie is very active in her community and most recently served as a committee member of Hedge Funds Care and Foundation for Continuing Education (FCE). She also balances her finance/accounting side by training for marathons and practicing yoga.
Benjamin Reeves, Senior Accountant, brings a wealth of financial services experience to the team. Ben’s focus on excellence in client services was honed through 7 years of working in public accounting, with a strong specialization in the financial industry and in fund accounting. His public accounting experience focused on banking, education and non-profit clients, and diversely invested nonprofit endowments.
In his private equity experience Ben focused on building flexible structures for young funds. He is passionate about creating an efficient working environment where information is easy to quickly assemble, allowing for the most accurate and informed decision making possible while building a positive cooperative relationship with clients. Ben is a detail oriented problem solver, viewing every challenge as an opportunity to examine procedures and streamline processes using best practices, eliminating problems before they arise. He brings an optimistic perspective to every situation.
Ben holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of San Francisco. During his free time he serves as financial advisor for charities in the bay area, as well as volunteering with the San Francisco and Marin County Food Banks. He is also an avid sailor, spending any time he can on the water.
